ICBN Community Anchor Symposium in Review

On March 26, 2012, the ICBN hosted the Inter-County Broadband Network Community Anchor Symposium at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). This one-day conference presented an opportunity for representatives of anchor institutions that will be connected to our network to learn the practical benefits of ICBN and what it will mean to the organizations and citizens they serve.

Large panel discussions and small breakout sessions were held throughout the day. Participants benefited from the insights of national, state, and locally recognized panelists and keynote speakers from a range of disciplines including healthcare, public safety, and education.

If you weren’t able to make the Symposium, we hope that you’ll be able to take a moment and watch the video (above) that recaps the entire event. For full-video coverage of the day’s sessions and presentations, please visit the video section on our website.
